Volunteer Drivers needed for the Wayne County Home Delivered Meals Program-

• Drivers are immediately needed for delivery of nutritious meals prepared by Arc Wayne to older adults in their homes
• Meal pick up locations are available throughout the county
• Meal delivery requires approximately 1 hour per day of volunteering
• Drivers will receive comprehensive training and are eligible for mileage reimbursement
• Volunteer as often as you want. Frequency of volunteering ranges from a few times a week to once a month. Accommodation is made for volunteers who may go away for the winter
• Volunteers are accepted and trained on an ongoing basis
• Help your neighbors to remain in their own homes by delivering meals and making personal contact that enhances their safety
